XY Laser Projector

One interesting project was to build a complete XY laser projection system including blanking. This was produced as part of the "Imagine RIT" event. The project uses a class 3B green DPSS (diode pumped solid state) laser, 2 galvos for XY, 1 galvo for blanking, semi-custom driver boards, and a parallel DAC interface to the PC. PC software was custom written, and the projector can also be driven with Popelscan.
